11/28/2006 Test 3, Final and Office hours

(1) Test 3 will be given on 11/30 and 12/1, this Thursday and Friday. Please plan to finish the practice problems of test 3. 
Problem 3 on test 3 has two parts, you only need to finish one of them. The review problems are posted on my website.
(2) Final is scheduled on Thu., Dec 7, 6:40pm-8:30pm. Review problems for final have been posted on my website.
(3) Last class is on Monday, December 4. We will go over some parts of the final review problems. Please finish your final practice problems before next Monday and bring your qestions on Monday's class.
(4) Office hours for final: W, December 6, 12:00pm-2:30pm and Th, December 7, 3:00pm-6:00pm. You can also e-mail me to discuss the questions.

1. About Homework
From Chapter 4, if I found that you haven't tried even one problem of one seciton, I will e-mail you to hand in a hard copy to me with necessary steps. However, this will not count for credits. Please finish your homework on time.

2. About test 2

(1) I have posted the practice problems for test 2 on my website. Please make a plan to prepare for test 2. Test 2 cover Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.

(2) Test 2 will be given on 10/25 (W) and 10/26 (Th)  

(3) Office hours for test 2: Monday 10/23 8:00am-8:30am, 9:40am-10:40am Wed 10/25
8:00am-8:30am, 9:40am-10:30am, 12:00-1:30pm. Please come to see me if you have questions. If the time doesn't work for you, please make an appointment with me.

1. I have posted the practice problems for test 1 on my website. Please make a plan to prepare for test 1.

2. Test 1 will be given on 9/20 (W) and 9/21 (Th). 

Note: 
(1) Although you may have a two day window to take your exam, that does not mean you can take some of it and then come back the next day and take the rest of it.  
(2) Mathematics Department Testing Center is located in PSA 21 (basement).
(3) To be admitted to the Testing Center each student must have a valid ASU "Sun Card" .
(4) During 9/20 and 9/21, the testing center is open 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Make sure you arrive before 6:30 p.m. The last exam is collected at 7:55pm.
